National launch will be via events across the nation - the kick off event is being held in Queensland at Movie World - 11 August. With events in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth being held.

We have selected 11 August as the launch date as it is a highly significant date in the history of women in IT. 11 August 1942 is the date that Hedy Lamarr a famous 1940’s movie star was awarded the patent for spread spectrum. Spread spectrum is the underlying technology of all our mobile communications today.
