The Innovator:

Sonja Bernhardt - Sonja is the brain child behind the calendar and project managed the initiative from concept to celebration. Sonja has a credible history of supporting women in technology endeavours.

Sonja has been named one of the top 50 influential women in the world in science and technology. On 8 December 2005 Sonja was the first Australian inducted into the Hall of Fame for Women in Technology International. The ceremony was held in Silicon Valley.

Sonja believes that now is the time to take 'drastic' measures to smash through barriers and perceptions. She believes that this calendar is a way to generate mass interest and a way to raise funds for on going not for profit activities.

Mirage Design is a graphic design and web development studio founded in 1996 by Jane Long.

Jane's role on the Screen Goddess IT Calendar was highly varied! Her role included being part of the initial concept development team, art direction on the shoots, the making and sourcing of selected costumes, image editing and the layout design and production.

This initially involved lots of e-baying and gaffa tape but then settled into a hard slog at the desk. Each image is the result of many hours work, but the best of her edits are, by their nature, the most difficult to find.

Jane's work with the calendar continues with the production of the website and on-going marketing material such as advertising and posters.

Elite Photographics is a well-known Photographic Studio situated in Indooroopilly. The studio is renowned for its images of distinction, specializing in portraits for the discerning client. Chris and Cathie Marr opened Elite Photographics in 1990 and manage the successful business today. Last year he also worked with Julia Lewis, Lewis Media and Jane Long, Mirage Design on another calendar for the construction industry to raise money for the Mater Prostate Cancer Research Centre.
